1661. I think the differance between Curtis’ time travel power and the one Simon buys is that Curtis can re-write or create new timelines. Simon can only moves within the timeline he’s lived. That means that, unlike Curtis, he doesn’t have a “ripple-proof” memory. So even if he tried to change something, as soon as he took action to do so, he’d forgot how it originally happened, and would forget he had to change it. So he might attempt to change things millions of times, and never remember or succeed.

You people should have a good look at this post and stop all the nonsense.

1680. Are we talking about plotholes? When Curtis went back in time, he was always in his past body, in the place where he had been in the past. When that old man used the power, he should’ve been a little boy in some German home, not an old man in Hitler’s office. Kelly shouldn’t have even been able to go back that far; she wasn’t alive!

here’s the point.

The time-traveling power Simon has is TOTALLY DIFFERENT from the one Curtis had. Curtis’s power could change history but Simon’s could not, which means everything has to happen exactly like it happened.
1422. I am the only one who thinks it’s hilarious that all the ‘shippers were asking for a Simon/Alisha sex scene for the whole series, and when you get one they go and kill Alisha ten seconds later? Overman is such a troll, and it was perfect.
There are so many opinions about Seth..

imaginaryliza:

Some say he’s a jerk
Some say he did what he had to do
Some say he is boring
Some say that Matthew McNulty is a bad actor
But everyone
AND I MEAN EVERYONE
want to shag him.
that’s how attractive this guy is.
wow.

+1

Just a little rant about Misfits…

I don’t understand the Seth hate. Put yourself in his position. You lose the person you care for the most in the world, and you feel like it’s your fault that they’re dead. Imagine then, if you had the power to bring them back. You can’t just pass an opportunity…

And one more thing, Seth was a drug dealer. Are there many drug dealers with noble morality out there?

hagneto:

i think we all enjoy seth so much because we’ve finally got a legitimately hot guy in Misfits.

like, not unconventionally attractive, or weird hot, just straight up ‘let me shag your brains out until i’m raw’ hot.

1341. *NATHAN VOICE* ALRITE EVERYONE CAAM DOWN, JUST THINK, NOW KEEP CAAM. ALISHA IS NOT GOING TO LEAVE/BE KILLED/GO OFF TO A PARALLEL UNIVERSE WHERE THE STORM DIDNT HAPPEN, B/C THE UNDERLYING THEME WITH THE MISFITS IS EVERYONE DIES BUT THEM. THE ONLY TWO PEOPLE WHO LASTED LONG ENOUGH THROUGHOUT AN ENTIRE SERIES WERE SHAUN AND NOW SETH. THE MISFITS DONT DIE, AND IF THEY DO, THEY UNDO IT AND EVERYTHING GETS BACK TO NORMAL. NOW EVERYONE GO BACK TO WANKING OFF ON ROBERT SHEEHAN. KTHXBAI.

amhuinn:

And I have to agree with people who say this series needed more of an arc playing in the background. I liked each episode, but I want to feel that something is building up and I don’t really.

I’m sure we’ll come back to the Superhoodie stuff, but I wish there’d been slight hints after ep3.

Also,…

I love your thoughts about Seth.
